This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the Dutch AI landscape, collaborate with leading researchers and partners, and play an active role in how ICAI brings people and ideas together.
In this role at ICAI, you contribute to the coordination and content of community initiatives, with a focus on community mapping and event program development.
You assist in creating a clear overview of the ICAI ecosystem by helping to map key stakeholders, research themes, and ongoing initiatives. As part of this, you actively support the process of interviewing key stakeholders within the network. You help translate these conversations into structured insights, identifying needs, opportunities, and relevant themes for the community.
Based on these insights, you support the development of high-quality event programs and take an active role in organizing the monthly ICAI seminar, ensuring it is relevant, well-coordinated, and valuable for the community.
You work closely with the Program Manager, who guides and supports you in your tasks, while giving you room to contribute ideas and take initiative. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community building, stakeholder engagement, and AI-driven program development.
You work in a structured way to keep an overview of multiple ongoing activities, even when priorities shift or new input comes in. You are comfortable reaching out to people in the network to ask questions, gather input, and follow up on conversations. You translate information from different sources into clear notes, insights, and concrete actions for program development.
You follow developments in AI and actively look for relevant themes, ideas, and examples that could be translated into event content. You think along with the Program Manager on how to turn input from the network into engaging and relevant seminar and event programs. When organizing activities such as the monthly ICAI seminar, you keep track of details, timelines, and coordination steps.
You work in collaboration with others, ask for clarification when needed, and help ensure that agreements and actions are followed up.
Your experience and profile
We offer a temporary employment contract for max 8 hours per week for a period of 12 months. If proven suitable, an extension is possible. The preferred starting date is as soon as possible.
The gross monthly salary, based on 38 hours per week and dependent on how far advanced you are in your study, ranges between € 3,084 to € 3,141 (scale SA).
