As a student assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the project leader (PI) with the management of the project – this will include correspondence with project’s international associates, organization of project meetings, logistics for events and workshops held under the project, and updating the project website (where project members/associates will be contributing blogs, annotated bibliography, and image-essays etc).
As Student Assistant, you will also be welcome to develop your own research interests in dialogue with the project and will benefit from learning from the close research environment of the project team.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Students with backgrounds in cultural/intellectual/art histories or artistic research are particularly welcome.
You should be enthusiastic, intellectually engaged, and efficient – open to learning new skills and working with people in a team. Interest in the research scope of the project is an added quality, so candidates interested in themes of art and histories/archives of decolonization – and with experience of accounting and website work – are particularly welcome.
