At all ranks, this position is intended to lead to a permanent (tenured) appointment. We therefore offer a full-time (38 hours per week) temporary contract for an initial period of 18 months, including a two-month probationary period. Subject to a positive evaluation, the appointment will be converted into a permanent position. The preferred starting date is as soon as possibleThe position is offered as open rank, ranging from Assistant Professor to Full Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. Salary will be determined in accordance with university regulations for academic staff and based on experience and qualifications.The gross monthly salary, based on 38 hours per week and dependent on relevant experience, ranges between assistant professor € 3,706 to € 5,760 (scale 10). to full professor € 7,475 to € 10,815 (scale H2).In addition there is a 8% holiday allowance and 8,3% year-end allowance. A favourable tax agreement, the ‘30% ruling’, may apply to non-Dutch applicants.
