You have at least 60 ECTS when starting this job;
Important: if you do not have an EU passport, we can only consider your application if you have between 60-120 ECTS on 1 May 2026 (the reason is that we must apply for potential work visa, and you need at least 60 ECTS to be eligible for a TA job). Also: payment of the tuition fee for non-EU students should be done as early as possible (likely before end of May) to be able to get the work visa on time

People can rely on you, and you are able to be role model for others;
You are empathic and are interested in others, specifically in students;
You think it is challenging and fun to teach others;
You have a positive mindset: you believe that everyone has the potential to develop;
You can reflect on your own strength and weaknesses, and you can deal with feedback;
You have a flexible schedule.
You are available from Wednesday 19 August 2026 onwards (on this day, the first training day will take place).
We offer a temporary employment contract from August 17th to December 27th. If you are a good fit for the position and are still a student, an extension of the contract is possible. The employment agreement is for a maximum of 10 hours per week (depending on the number of groups you teach). Depending on the number of ECTS credits obtained at the start of employment, your gross monthly salary will range between €3,084 and €3,141, based on a full-time working week of 38 hours. This amount excludes the 8% holiday allowance and the 8.3% year-end bonus. The Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities (CAO NU) applies.
These hours include teaching 3 or 4 groups in periods 1 and 2, grading assignments and resits, attending training sessions and meetings. Furthermore, provided there is a sufficient level of performance, there is an opportunity to continue teaching in the following academic year.
