You will support researchers in the full process of grant applications (pre-award), from identifying a suitable program and call, to advising on the structure of the application and commenting on draft versions of the grant application. You will do early intakes with researchers on their ideas, coordinate peer review and assist and relieve researchers in the application process. You will think with faculty, institute management and research groups on their research funding strategy.
Other tasks are to proactively inform researchers and research units on opportunities and to organize and coordinate information sessions about funding schemes and procedures. You will also give training and workshops and organize and coordinate interview training. You will coordinate your activities with the faculty support and research management. Finally, you will work together with the other IXA experts. You have no post-award tasks.
The new grant advisor will advise on both individual and consortium grants, National and EU funding. Individual grants are for example applications to the Dutch Talent Programme and ERC applications. Consortium grants are for example applications to Horizon Europe pillar 2 and to the Dutch NWA and KIC programmes. The new advisor should be comfortable with and like it to advise on a broad variety of grant schemes.
